Stewart Tree Farms—Montesano, WA

Stewart Tree Farms has been growing and harvesting trees in Grays Harbor County since the 1800s. As one of the smaller members of WFPA, the Association's active and effective representation of timber interests in Olympia benefits us directly. New legislation and administrative regulation has been positively impacted by WFPA input.

WFPA’s education and information programs continue to make government and the public aware of the positive benefits of well-managed sustainable private forests. The elementary education tours and classes at our Wynoochee Valley tree farm have been fun for all and left teachers, students and parents with a positive impression of private forests. And WFPA’s sponsorship of seminars and workshops have helped members become more effective leaders and producers. We look forward to the next 100 great years of a "growing" future.
